LEVIATHAN is an ambitious art project that examines urgent issues of the contemporary era. Through linkages with experts from different fields, it explores the connections among various contemporary issues that remain insoluble or not fully understood including climate change, marine welfare, democracy, migration, and mental health.

In a piece titled BREAKING WALLS AND CROSSING BOUNDARIES, Prof. Nam proposes that research on the deep sea, which still remains an unknown territory can be an important key determining the future of humankind and urges that, in order to achieve this, cooperation on a global level transcending existing boundaries is necessary.
